Hormone Related Conditions

At least 80% of women will struggle with a hormone problem in their lifetime.

This is a staggering statistic that makes complete sense. As a midwife of 20 years, I see women suffering every day from hormone imbalances at all stages of life. Helping identify and drill down the root cause of these hormonal challenges is one of my passions as a healthcare practitioner. Starting with a natural approach is often the first step to healing hormone imbalances.

The Many Faces of Hormone-Related Conditions

Hormone-related issues show up in many ways, including those that often bring women into my office. We can get to the bottom of these conditions by working together to find the source of the imbalance and then work a sustainable program that makes sense for you!

Below are some of the most common hormone-related conditions that I specialize in:

  • PMS

  • PCOS

  • Infertility

  • Irregular periods

  • Menopausal symptoms

  • Hair loss (or thinning)

  • Endometriosis

  • Low (or no) sex drive

  • Chronic vaginal infections

  • Fatigue, low energy

  • Hormonal Migraines and headaches

  • PMDD

  • Sleep problems

  • Painful periods

  • Irregular, skipped, or painful periods

  • Depression and/or Anxiety

  • Irritability

  • Acne

  • Fibroids

  • Breast pain or tenderness

  • Prenatal or Postpartum depression

Wow! That is quite the list. Any of these symptoms of hormone imbalance sound familiar? Many women come in with several of these complaints and we can often improve symptoms with a very straight forward protocol of balancing hormones. It’s often a combination of specific lifestyle changes and targeted supplements get us on the right path.
